Dubai is an easy place to start kitesurfing: warm water, a usable thermal wind most of the year, and two public kite zones. KiteSurfSUP has taught on those beaches since 2010.
Why Learn Here?
ebel Ali Public Beach is a wide, shallow lagoon — first lessons and waterstarts belong there. Ness Nass Beach is the Jumeirah option when that side of town is easier for you. We pick the beach on the morning of the lesson. We do not teach at a hotel private beach.
What the hours actually are

Lessons follow the IKO pathway.
- First block — land. Wind window, safety systems, trainer or full kite on the sand. You fly it and you put it down.
- Next hours — water without a board. Body drag both ways, relaunch, get back to the kite.
- Later hours — board on, waterstart, ride both directions, a controlled stop. Most private students who get honest wind do that inside a 10-hour course. Some need more. We do not invent wind to hit a number.
Private vs Semi-Private
Private is one student. Fastest. Best if you have a short trip. The 10-hour private course is AED 3,300 (AED 330 per hour). A taster is AED 300 if you only want to see whether you like it.
Semi-private is two people at the same level. Cheaper per person. We will not pair a first-timer with someone who already rides upwind.
